1965 Ford Mustang convertible VIN: 5F08C714056 --Correct 289-CID V8 engine (C-code) --Refinished paint job (exterior = Pacecar White with Vintage Burgundy dual stripe) --Three-speed automatic transmission --Two-door convertible --Original radio included The Ford Mustang was a trendsetter that sparked the new car class known as pony car. MotoeXotica Classic Cars has your opportunity to own a first generation Ford Mustang. The Ford Mustang was introduced at the 1964 Worlds Fair in New York. Mustangs of 1965 can be categorized into early 65 and late 65 models. The main difference is the engine; the early models used a straight-6 engine with three-speed manual transmission, and the newer ones that year had a variety of engines and transmissions. Interior standards for 65 Mustangs included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford, however, provided a number of options customers could choose, letting them customize their Mustangs. This helped Ford target many different consumers and drivers, propelling the Mustang to a nationally recognized make. Fuel economy for 65 Mustangs was 20 MPG at 60 MPH. MotoeXotica presents a 1965 Ford Mustang convertible from our showroom. The paint has been recently refinished with a Pacecar White exterior with a dual strip Vintage Burgundy down the middle of the vehicle. This dual racing stripe is clear-coated. The soft convertible top is in excellent condition and is a manual lift with working locks. The body is very solid. Both front and rear bumpers look great with no pitting or major dents. The black vinyl seats are new and factory correct. The radio is an updated model to look vintage but has a digital readout. The original radio is included. Under the hood is where this pony car gets its power. A correct 289-CID V8 engine (C-code) gives this Mustang its kick. The engine compartment and motor are very well detailed. The motor is connected to a three-speed automatic transmission. The motor runs strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. The VIN is 5F08C714056, and mileage reads 3,886. GET OUT AND DRIVE!
