1966 MUSTANG HIPO COUPE (k)CODE TRIBUTE

This Mustang coupe is a 2 owner car currently with 77,800 miles which was only driven on dry days and weekend pleasure cruises by its two previous owners displaying its factory rust free sheet metal, it was built in May of 1966 at Ford Motor Company's Dearborn Mustang plant and subsequently shipped to Country Club Ford Sales Madison, New Jersey and sold new to the first owner Cas Andryshak who owned the vehicle until the late 1980's. The second owner Henry Smith purchased it for his daughter to drive in the 80's who only drove it while home from college, both owners maintained the vehicle in all around pristine condition and it was stored while not in use in climate controlled environments. Owner number two maintained ownership until September 2013 and the vehicle is now offered for sale.

The vehicle was upgraded by Cas Andryshak owner one in the mid 70's from a base coupe with a six cylinder drive line to a V8 with all the detail of a 289 HIPO V8 car as the car was ordered by Country Club Ford as a 289 HIPO car but the order was wrongly input and upon delivery Cas Andryshak found his new mustang not to be equipped with the correct engine, his wife Norma was so excited about the new car he could not advise her that the engine was wrong as he ordered the car. With this in mind the Ford dealer credited for the engine order error and his wife Norma enjoyed the car for several years.

The vehicle maintains its original black interior in pristine condition along with all of the cars factory glass, chrome and trim the vehicle has been recently repainted its factory 1966 Ford color candy apple red. It has a automatic transmission which has a floor shift mounted 3 speed FMX transmission, the complete driveline engine and transmission are completely rebuilt and run and look like they have just been installed by the factory in 1966. The car is completely refurbished where needed to the standards of the Mustang Club of America judging standards for a concourse quality car and is additionally highly detailed boasting a pristine engine compartment and under car, the trunk is untouched an carries its original paint, jack, jack instruction label, spare, light factory trunk coating, and vinyl trunk mat. It is equipped with 14" redline tires which are mounted to the factory wheels and wheel trim.

The vehicle is in top running mechanical condition without defect in any form all suspension, brakes, belts, hoses and engine components are either new or refurbished some of which are under warranty, this vehicle examples a true classic Mustang which can be enjoyed for several more years to come.
