All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. Here is a really nice car. This restored Pontiac is a replica of a 1970 GTO Judge. It is a real eye catcher with its straight body, beautiful paint, and Judge accents. But it is also an excellent ride that is spacious and comfortable, not to mention fast. Sporting a fully rebuilt 400 cubic inch motor, automatic transmission, and 12-bolt rear, along with power steering and power front disc brakes, it really is a fun car to drive as well. This Pontiac was originally produced at the Arlington, TX plant and has obviously stayed out of the snow belt, having been in Missouri most recently. The car has never had rust issues and retains all its original sheetmetal underneath. From this solid platform, the car was repainted its original Palladium Silver color along with the matching red-yellow-blue Judge stripes and spoiler. The correct wheels with red-line bias ply tires are the perfect accent to the color scheme. The overall look is genuine 1970, but without being completely over-the-top. There are many other new parts as well; moldings, headlights, lenses, bumper, seals, etc. The drivetrain has been completely rebuilt, starting with the 400 ci engine with 6X heads. It has received a few performance parts including a Holley Street Dominator intake, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke, and an HEI distributor. There is also a new 4-core aluminum radiator and dual Magnaflow exhaust. The engine is mated to a TH350 automatic transmission that has been rebuilt with a shift kit. This is backed by a 12-bolt rear end with an Eaton positraction unit with 3.55 gears and Moser axles with C-clip eliminators. This is a very stout drivetrain that runs perfectly and will chirp the tires with gear changes if you step on it. There are also new power brakes with discs in front for excellent stopping power, while power steering makes the car very easy to maneuver. The interior has been redone in its original blue color along with the woodgrain dash panel and center console. There is plenty of space in this car, even in the back seat. All seat belts are present including shoulder belts for the front passengers. The horn, heater/defroster, wipers, dash lights, and interior lights all work properly. The car also retains a functional backdrive (so the key must be turned to shift out of park, and the transmission returned to park to remove the key). The backup lights and neutral safety switch also work properly. I will state again, this is a really nice car; the pictures do not do it full justice. And as is usually the case with restorations, you could not reproduce this car for anything near its asking price. Further, this car is complete and ready to go; you can actually drive around and have a good time (hard to do in a real $70,000 Judge). And after all, that should be the best part about owning a classic.
