Description

1967 VW Beetle Woody
custom built around late 60's-70's have the Original 2 part build plans.Matching Engine and transmission.
Paint is newer and shows very nice but not show quality. Very few chips no dents.
Current paint looks to me 50's Porsche Ivory. Interior looks new no rips or fade.Original AM Radio with its speaker works like a charm.
Heater and its controls were deleted, can be replaced have some of the parts.Door handles were also deleted with plans to install remote door locks. Turn signals were moved over horn openings.
Car was rebuilt 18K miles it runs superb starts every time and cruses at 70mph plus like a jetliner.Brakes work perfect.
Front axle beam needs to be replaced do to wear on upper right shock tower.
I just bought a low mile German axle beam with bearings so if you're handy its a half a days job or have your VW mechanic do it. The wheels are original as the wheel covers and bolts. The wood shows great with lots of patina. Rear shocks are air shocks 25-200psi capable.Front shocks are original spec.Have two sets of keys original jack, and tools with tool roll. 1967 California plates are registered and I am hoping to sell this surf cruiser to California. 60's style Surf board included.
