1968 Chevrolet Camaro There is no arguing that one of the most popular muscle cars ever produced has to be the 60s Camaros. These cars have obtained notoriety in movies, books, television and even someone who has zero interest in classic cars can usually point out a Camaro. With a two door body and tough outer appearance these cars beg for attention. This nice 1968 Camaro was very nicely and has only been driven 2,000 miles since being rebuilt. That means you get to enjoy the niceness of a fresh restoration without having to invest the dollars, time, and work! The body is solid and looks great being painted a nice Yellow to go with the Black vinyl top. The hockey stick style paint work runs down each side and across the front. Super sport badging is in place and all of the original style emblems are cleanly mounted to the body. The chrome front and rear bumpers are in great condition and all of the stainless trim looks just as nice. The exterior electrical all works properly and the rear taillight looks great mounted in a blacked out panel. All of the glass has a slight tint and the windows are all in good condition. The car has a great stance and rides on polished American Racing torque thrust wheels that look great. Wider tires are found in the back and the 700HP 468 motor has no problem getting them to spin. The engine in the car looks just as well as it runs with virtually every component being chromed or polished. Cool flex hoses are used throughout and all of the wires/hoses are neatly routed throughout the painted Black engine compartment. The block is painted yellow to match the body and makes for a very clean look. Check out the following table to see all that makes up the drivetrain: 468 V (60 over 454) Approximately 700 HP Edlebrock Aluminum Heads Roller Rockers Custom Cam (6:73 lift 2:70 Duration) H Beam Rods Stainless Steel crank 4 Bolt Main 11 to 1 Compression Detroit Locker Rear End 4:10 gears 33 Spline Mosier Axles Turbo 350 Transmission with reverse manual valve body Power Brakes (Wilwood Disc on all 4 wheels) The interior of the car is done in Black and has an original look with a few minor customizations that were incorporated well. The bucket seats are comfortable and between them is the original center console with an added polished B&M shifter with rally gauges. Wood trim accents the console and dash and is in good condition. An aftermarket AM/FM/CD player is cleanly mounted in place and provides a great sound. The gauges are all working properly with an original speedometer but updated white faced VDO tach. An after market polished Grant steering wheel looks perfect on top of the column and utilizes a Chevrolet bowtie horn button. All of the knobs/switches are chrome as are the vents for the Heat system. With over $50K in receipts there is no doubt that this car is being offered up at a bargain. You wont find another one this nice for these dollars. It is a great driving car and shows extremely well. Get it for 1/2 of the cost to build at $33,350.00! NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $30,000.00!!
