This 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe is a rare and desirable collector car. It is in pristine original condition and has documented history to prove its authenticity. A Southern car, this 1941 Chevrolet is a museum quality vehicle. Chevrolet introduced a new body in 1941 that continued until after the war. New were concealed safety steps that replaced the traditional running boards. The headlamps were placed in the fenders. The six cylinder engine was improved with additional horsepower. A shortwave radio was also introduced as a factory option. The exterior on this 1941 Chevrolet is the original black paint and it is in excellent condition. The body is all original sheet metal. All chrome and trim is also in excellent original shape. Glass is all original with the inverted emblems. Engine is the original 216 cid six cylinder with 90 horsepower. Transmission is the original 3 speed synchromesh transmission. Options are radio, heater, and clock. Car runs and drives with excellent performance. The current owner is a professional mechanic so you can be assured that the engine runs strong and has been regularly serviced. Miles are 47,188 miles. This 1941 Chevy is located in Kentucky. It is available for viewing by appointment only. In 1941, Chevrolet introduced a completely new body. Concealed safety steps replaced the traditional running boards. These changes would continue through the post-war models up to 1948. They also improved the existing six-cylinder engine for additional horsepower. Chevrolet and other General Motors cars offered shortwave radios as a factory option.
