Finished in Signal Red with Black hide interior this 4.2 FHC E type has had only 3 owners from new and comes with a substantial history file. It was restored by its last owner some 12 years ago who passed away before he was able to use the car. His widow has now decided to sell and the car is currently undergoing some minor recommissioning before being offered for sale. It has a completely rust free tub including the sills and spare wheel well and requires only minor paint improvement and some detailing to the engine bay area. The specification includes an original factory fitted Tudor Webasto sun roof with deflector and a completely re-trimmed black hide interior, new lattice cross spoked wire wheels, a new stainless steel exhaust system with correct chromium tale pipes and Coopercraft brakes for considerably improved stopping power. It also has the benefit of twin fans for improved cooling. When the E type first appeared in 1961 it took the motoring world by storm, being so much lighter and easier to drive than its immediate predecessor and when it was first entered into competition on the race track it won its first race in standard form straight from the showroom. THE CAR WILL BE READY IN ABOUT 4 WEEKS AND CORRECT PICTURES WILL BE ADDED SHORTLY. LIBRARY PICTURE FOR NOW
