Stk. 1778 1993 Pontiac Trans Am

Do you know what you get when you cross a fourth generation, 1993 Pontiac Trans Am with the engineering savvy of John Lingenfelter and mix in over $80,000 dollars in the process? One insanely wicked F-Body! And to add to that insanity… this car is driven daily on the street. According to the factory plant manifest, it was born as a 2FS87 (Trans Am) at the Saint Therese plant and still wears its original (48) Dark Yellow Green paint over its original (122) black leather interior. Even with 275 horsepower on tap with the 5.7L LT1 motor, the decision was made that it wasn't exciting enough. Enter John Lingenfelter and his tuning shop of renown. They removed, stroked and massaged the stock LT1 into a 383 Stage 5 motor, which includes a Vortex S Trim supercharger and prom chip that John personally tuned himself. Jet coated SLP stainless-steel headers along with a 3" stainless-steel Borla cat-back system lets the entire world know not to mess with this one. A T-56 six-speed transmission doles out the prodigious torque via a Centerforce clutch, Denny's 3" driveshaft and a 9" Currie Engineering Ford rear end with 3:70 to 1, Detroit True Track differential. Keeping this Bird glued to the ground is an adjustable Koni/Eibach suspension lowered 2"; mated with Hotchkis rear control arms, front strut tower brace and complete polyurethane bushings all around. And if that wasn't enough, the whole package is rounded out with some killer, three-piece Fittipaldi wheels and Bridgestone Potenza tires. 275/40/17 by 8" wide up front and 315/35/17 by 9'out back make this a true road and track monster. Handling the job of reeling in all this mayhem are four piston Baer Claw calipers and 13" rotors. In the cockpit you'll still find all the same luxury and comfort…along with a few extra gauges, a boost retard switch and a rear roll cage. The final tally on Lingenfelter's dyno was a whopping 502 hp to the rear wheels!!! I know I don't have to tell you that you can't build this car for this price…so you may as well put down the calculator and pony up for this wild and wicked T/A.
