Description

1955 Ford Crown Victoria Break out the poodle skirts and leather jackets because this classic will have you dreaming of the 50s. Tri five Chevys may get all of the press but one look at this 55 Ford Crown Victoria will have you wondering why anyone gives those Chevys attention. In true 50s style this classic is coated in the factory Pink and White two tone paint which is in excellent condition. Pink pin-stripping graces the hood giving the car a touch of custom. Pink is typically thought of as a feminine color but something about the look of this car works whether the person behind the wheel has a Y chromosome or not. Everyone that lays eyes on the car tells us how nice it is and reports that it is probably the nicest they have seen. To make it even nicer, the car was just gone through again, despite being already restored, to insure everything is working properly and everything is in good condition. You may just think this is your everyday 1955 Crown Victoria, but we assure you it is not. The rare glass top option is something many people havent seen. If you thought the moon roof was a new idea then you better guess again! On top of that the car was ordered from the factory with Power Windows and Power Seats which are a couple of rare options. These classics are covered with beautiful chrome and trim and just wouldnt look right without it. Thats why all of the chrome, emblems, and stainless has been replaced or reworked to look amazing. The front grill is laser straight and makes for a great looking front end. The car has a great stance and rides on 15 chrome wheels with new wide whitewall radial tires. It also comes with fender skirts which match the car but are not on it in the provided pictures. The original 292 V8 was rebuilt and runs very well. It starts up every time and has a great sound through brand new dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. The block, heads, and manifold are all coated in the correct Ford blue for originality. The finned valve covers are in place and look great next to the billet air cleaner. The original Ford OMatic shifts very smoothly with zero issues. If you arent sure what a Ford Omatic is, its the 3 speed automatic introduced in 1950. The power brakes work just as they should with disc brakes in front and drum in rear. They have just been completely rebuilt as was the entire front end. It has been completely converted to a 12 volt system to make replacing electrical parts a lot less time consuming and less costly. The interior is finished out in pink and white to match the exterior and looks great. The white seats with pink inserts look like they are custom but are actually the original style. The dash is left in the original style and looks great. All of the bezels and knobs are in great condition and in place. The glove box door has been chromed to add a little extra shine to the interior. The car has factory air conditioning but has an updated compressor. This means that not only will the A/C work better than it did originally but it has been converted from the R-12 system which means getting it charged is much easier. Spot lights are also in place which are the genuine real deal. These are often rare and can be very expensive. The original push button radio is also still in place but not currently working. A new AM/FM/CD stereo system with remote has been installed to provide the tunes for when you are cruising in this beauty! This is one awesome car that gets respect wherever it is driven. You will be amazed seeing in person just as everyone else that has been lucky enough to check it out. Park this rare American classic in your garage for $48,500.00! NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $39,500.00!
