Stunning Baroque Gold exterior ... Flawless Black vinyl roof ... New White leather interior ... Fresh restoration ... 472 CID V-8 ... 375 HP ... Runs and drives like new ...
Cadillac had much to celebrate in 1968. In addition to unveiling a brand new V-8 engine, they also celebrated the production of their three-millionth postwar Cadillac and boasted production and sales that far surpassed the level of rivals Lincoln and Imperial. The Coupe DeVille was part of this success story—a car they promised would “reward you with more pleasure, pride and lasting satisfaction than any car you have ever owned.”
This stunning fully restored 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille is finished in Baroque Gold and features a contrasting Black vinyl top and White leather interior. Its recent finish has a beautiful luster that is further accentuated by an abundance of chrome that is in excellent condition. Similarly, the vinyl top is in like new condition.
The recently restored interior tells a similar story, and shows as virtually new. The seating areas have been professionally reupholstered with sumptuous White leather, resulting in a glove soft feel and scent that only genuine leather can provide. Genuine wood accents on the dash board and door panels provide an additional note of distinction. The dash board, steering wheel, carpeting, headliner, and door panels are also in excellent condition, showing only the most minimal wear.
You will also appreciate the level of standard and optional comfort and convenience items found on this Cadillac, including the following:
• Power windows
• 6-way power seat
• Power antenna
• Variable power steering
• Power brakes
• Automatic climate control
With the exception of the clock and power seat, all power options work as they should. It should also be noted that the air conditioning is not currently functioning.
Powered by a 472 CID V-8 mated to a 3-speed turbo hydra-matic automatic transmission, this car generates an impressive 375 horsepower and 525 ft.-lbs. of torque. Having only 85,900 original miles, this car runs and drives as well as it looks, with power to spare. More recent mechanical updates include the following:
• Brake shoes
• Brake lines
• Newer tires
Included with sale are the original owner’s manual and available service records.
If a beautifully restored and ready-to-enjoy Cadillac is what you desire, this 1968 Coupe DeVille is for you.
