1969 Camaro with 427 engine 4-speed M-22 transmission and 12-bolt rear end.
I started with a rust free original GM 1969 Camaro. The body has been rotisserie restored top to bottom with high quality PPG automotive materials. The paint color is Daytona yellow and it has been wet sanded and polished.
The drive train is all new or rebuilt. Rebuilt 427 with 67 Corvette cylinder heads and an L-88 solid lifter camshaft producing around 500 HP. The transmission is an M22 4-speed. It is an aftermarket modern transmission built by Medatronics www.5speeds.com New Hurst compition plus shifter, Centerforce clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. The Differential is a new Moser 12-bolt with 3:73 gears and drum brakes.
The front chassis is a new complete Heidts front sub frame with tubular control arms, coil over shocks, Wilwood disc brakes and power rack and pinion. The rear chassis is all new and stock style with new multi leaf rear springs, shocks and bushings. The chassis has been finished using all PPG automotive materials.
The interior is all stock standard black. New headliner, dash pad, steering column, steering wheel, door panels, carpet, and most all the other items in the interior.
The car is fresh with only break-in time on the engine and 1 mile of driving.
Everything on this car is new or restored. Front and rear bumpers, front and rear glass, emblems, weather-strips, lights, door handles.
All mechanical parts are new as well Be Cool radiator, all hoses, heater core and box all restored, new water pump, starter and alternator. Complete new MSD ignition including the distributor, plug wires, ignition box, Holley carburetor, air cleaner, power steering pump and all related.
All new fuel system including the pump, lines and tank.
All new brake system including the master cylinder, booster, lines and distribution blocks,
All new exhaust system Hooker super comp ceramic headers and full flowmaster 2 1/2 inch exhaust system.
The Stainless trim is all GM and has been polished.
All new wiring harness front to rear.
