Street legal funny car ... Toured on ISCA circuit ... Blown 262 CID V-8 ... 400 HP ... Logghe chassis ... Al Bergler tin work ... Much photographic history included ...

Own a piece of drag racing history with this street legal 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Funny Car. Having previously toured on the ISCA circuit, this eye catching car won awards in Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Dayton, and Cincinnati. Perfect for nostalgia drag racing events, this car’s custom paint work is an attention getter!

In addition to eye catching looks, this funny car has an impressive history, having been built by the top builders of funny cars of the era. It was originally built for Jack Brown in 1969 and subsequently sold to Mickey Hart of Hart Automotive in Cleveland, Ohio. It features a chassis built by the legendary Logghe brothers, which was updated by Larry Sikora and Chuck Finders. In addition, the tin work on this car was completed by Al Bergler, Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame inductee. It was originally driven by Bill Levic and Ken Mott. An impressive collection of photograph copies that document the appearance and history of this car over the last four decades will be included with sale.

Mechanical specifications include the following:

• Blown 262 CID V-8 generating approximately 400 HP
• TH 350 automatic transmission
• Chrysler 8.75 rear end
• Rear disc brakes

Completely street legal, this Camaro also features lights, mufflers, legal tires, horn and safety harness. Its hydraulics can be operated from the cockpit or remotely.

Painted approximately 15 years ago, this car has had $2,000 of recent paint updates by R&R Auto Body of Cleveland, Ohio. The fiberglass body and paint do exhibit some imperfections and superficial stress cracks given age and use through the years, but these items do not detract from the overall appearance of the car.

Recent maintenance and mechanical work performed includes an oil change, fresh plugs, a new heat gauge, and newer tires.

A presence at numerous shows over the years, a 26’ Hallmark trailer with winch, plexiglass show signs, and stanchions and ropes for indoor shows are also available. Please inquire.

Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to own a unique piece of automotive history that has not been available in the market for over 30 years.
