Description

A beautiful, professionally prepared historic racer, always in California, VARA racing log book, as far as we can tell (having examined and driven the car, illegally, around our neighborhood)....ready to race. We were told: engine has about 45 minues since a total rebuild, steel crank, forged pistons, nicely ported and polished head, full race cam, balanced, baffled oversize oil sump, lightened flywheel, 45 DCOE Weber, headers,......new racing alloy radiator, oil cooler, electronic ignition, adjustable rev limiter........ A custom installed Mazda 626 5 speed transmission with closer ratios than the original close ratio B racing gearsets, thick front sway bar, negative camber top arms, racing springs, rear Panhard rod, Minilite type alloy wheels with brand new (just mounted) 185/60 road going racing tires, dual master cylinder, ATL fuel cell........ Some neat stuff....extra starter button in the engine bay (ideal for adjusting valves), twin fuel pumps with individual swiches, brand new racing belts, fire system, racing seat, beautifully fabricated roll cage with bar above windshield and side bars on driver's side, full padding, removable steering wheel, everything properly safety wired, catch bottles, battery switch, big LED low oil pressure warning light, plexi rear and side windows, and about to get a new window net. Not much left out. Safe, easy to repair, should have fabulous handling, can't judge the potency of the engine but it certainly sounds rather wicked, neat trick having the 5 speed 'box, and.?????? Thats it. A beautifully prepared car for a beginner, for someonw who has an SCCA National level B engine kicking around, whatever. A great little, inexpensive racer that will impress ANYONE with its level of preparation.
