1967 Chevrolet Corvette There are all types of restorations out there. Some go part by part, some only rebuild what you can see. Well when you talk top of the line, best of the best restoration you are talking about a car like this. Every inch of this car is in beautiful condition and every piece was gone through. The car looks great in the pictures but you really cant tell how clean every component is without looking at it up close. You rarely see quality like this so it really stands out in a crowd. It is quite possibly as close as you can get to a new 1967 Corvette from the factory. It is all numbers matching and was body off, nut and bolt, rotisserie restored to original. In addition to the drivetrain being factory the car was also special ordered with factory AC! With the quality combined with a little rarity this is the type of classic you always hear about being hidden away in some private collection. Thats why it is such a great opportunity for us to bring a beauty like this to the open public. Find yourself at Barrett Jackson or Mecum and you will be sure to pay a lot more for this caliber of car. The Elkhart Blue factory color paint has a perfect finish and the car looks amazing sitting in the sun. The chrome split bumpers have a good shine and all of the chrome looks great and is cleanly mounted. This is a car where we could go on for pages just saying how nice everything is. The glass is free of any scratches/dings and has a slight tint. It rides on a set of cast aluminum factory style bolt on wheels and that factory look continues even down to the redline tires. As mentioned earlier every single piece was gone through and restored or replaced with the correct original. When we say every piece we mean EVERY. During the restoration the factory 327 V8 was raised from 300hp to 350hp and it runs extremely well. The motor starts up with no problems and runs extremely well. A great example of the detailed restoration is the water pump. The casting for the pump is specific to the 327 put out in 1967 and great lengths were taken to chase down just that part alone. Everything under the hood has the correct finish with Chevrolet Orange paint and a chrome circle air cleaner. The correct decal sits on top of the air cleaner and you will find factory correct decals like this throughout. The car has an awesome sound through the chambered exhaust routed correctly out of the rear. Behind the motor is the factory 4 speed manual that shifts very nicely and smoothly and sends power to the 3:36 posi trac rear end. Other nice features include the power brakes which work properly with no problems. Moving onto the interior and you will see it is just as immaculate. Every gauge bezel, every trim piece, EVERYTHING has a great finish. It is all factory correct. The wood grain steering wheel looks great in place and has a Corvette horn button. The blue upholstery matches the exterior and the bucket seats are very comfortable. You wont find a single area of this classic that is not as detailed as the rest. It needs nothing and is a car that would be well respected by even those who arent Corvette fans. This beautiful piece of car history could be yours for $97,500.00!
