A ONE OWNER CAR!!!! 1968 Porsche 912, (SWB) Karmann Coupe. 186,000 miles. All the numbers are correct. Light ivory with a black interior, still has the original paint. I just acquired this car from the first owner who bought this car in California in 1968, original purchase receipt is available along with some documents showing repair history.
(Regarding optional accessories showing on the purchase receipt, wooden wheel and speakers are missing.)
The car was last registered in 1991 and has been off the road since then.
Excellent straight, accident free body. Perfect gaps all around. The floors are original but there are some rust holes on the floors and by the jacking points and battery box, as you can see in the pictures.
The original interior is worn and showing its age. Missing headrest and one of the rear seat bottom cushion. Headliner is torn and needs to be replaced. The dash is in fairly good shape with no cracks.
Mechanically the car is complete but the engine does not turn over due to sitting for a long time.
A rare opportunity to own and fully restore a one owner Porsche 912 to its original glory.
