This unbelievably original 1937 Ford Four Door Sedan has had only three owners throughout its life. The original owner, Professor Frederick Lemke purchased in new in Watertown, Wisconsin. The car remained his daily driver until the early1960s when he purchased a new Rambler. At this point the Ford was stored in a tiny one car garage. The mechanic on Professor Lemkes Rambler, a man by the name of Wally Voight, soon learned of this 1937 Ford and began attempting to purchase it many times throughout the years but was never allowed to even view it. Finally in 1994 Wally was finally able to purchase the car. Wally finally had the car running following its long storage and in the process did a few mechanical and cosmetic upgrades including: Converted the electrical system from 6 volts to 12 volts. Replaced the generator with an alternator Installed dual exhaust Replaced the carpets but the rest of the magnificent interior is totally original. Repainted the four fenders The body retains the original paint that it left the factory with in 1937!
Following the resurrection and upgrades Wally drove the car on occasions until 2008 when it was sold to its current owner.
