1964 Chevrolet Corvette The C2 generation of Corvettes continues to be one of the most popular body styles out there. With the creation of the sting ray Chevrolet had a hit and even today these cars have a following all there own. This beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is in immaculate condition and would be a great addition to any collection. It drives and runs beautifully but purchasing this car is much more like making an investment then buying a fun toy. It underwent a complete body off restoration that was finished in 2005. Not a part was left untouched as it was gone through from front and rear insuring everything had a fresh look. The body is very straight and is coated in a very nice Silver Blue Metallic which is the original style of color. This is paired with a very nice White convertible top that raises and lowers with ease. It is a nice feeling knowing that no matter what the weather you can cruise in style. The car also comes with the original style hardtop that has been painted to match the car. It only needs a headliner and rear glass to be used. The front and rear split style bumpers are nicely chromed and cleanly mounted in place. A side mirror is only mounted to the drivers side and has a nice shine. The front wipers are working properly with nice chrome arms. All of the glass is in good condition with a professionally installed tint. All of the electrical is working well including the dual taillights and pop up headlights. The car has a very nice solid stance and sits on a set of true knock of wheels with thin white walled tires. Data code plate decoded C05-Production Date 5 week in November 867-Body Style Convertible STD - Interior Trim Black Vinyl 912A - Paint Medium Blue Included in the restoration, the numbers matching, date code correct 327V8 was completely rebuilt from top to bottom. It is rated at 350 horsepower which is partially due to the upgraded forged pistons and new cam. The circle chrome air cleaner sits nicely in place between the finned Corvette valve covers. The motor starts up like new and runs very well. It delivers a great sound through the custom added 1965 style side pipes. The 4 speed manual transmission was all rebuilt and shifts with zero issues. The rear end was all rebuilt as well and is fitted with 3:23 gears. The interior of the car was all redone in White which looks great next to the Blue paint. The seats are very comfortable. Between them is the original style center console and shifter. The dash of the car utilizes all of the original style components which have a great finish. You arent going to find much cleaner than this! A custom aftermarket AM/FM/CD player is in place but the car comes with the original Wonderlia AM/FM radio. Other nice components include the correct classic woodgrain style steering wheel with correct Chevrolet horn button. This is one good looking classic that gets a ton of attention. The detail that went into its build is not something you see everyday. It comes with an entire build book in addition to a car cover. This beautiful Corvette could be yours for $61,500.00!
