In the world of street rods there is a good chance that greater than half that you walk up to are going to be an old Ford. Well this classic is one of those awesome few that is incredibly unique! It is a Hudson Essex 2 door sedan which are very rare classics to come across. It was finished in late 2002 and has only 1,000 miles since completion. It began life as 2 original steel Essex bodies and chassis. One of those was a 1929 and the other a 1931. Because the chassis was from the 31 it is titled as such. Both bodies were together used to create the car you see today which is very straight. There is no evidence that this wasnt all one piece original. The attention paid to detail can be found throughout the car and is evident when you start checking it out close. The suicide doors, custom stainless grill, and suicide doors are just a few small examples of the custom features it has to offer. It is truly a 1 off 1 of a kind custom street rod. The following is a partial list of the components used in its construction but the car truly needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
