RESTORED, IMPECCABLE 1960 356B CABRIOLET WITH STEEL HARDTOP.
This low-mile, numbers-matching 356 was pampered by one owner for over 30 years - from 1980 to 2012. During his ownership it received a complete, high-level restoration including a full engine rebuild at 63,212 miles. Since that time it has been enjoyed for pleasure trips and now shows just over 74,300 miles on the odometer.
It was recently refreshed including full brake service, installation of a correct Bosch BR18 distributor, rebuilding of the carburetors, tune-up and valve adjustment and new tires. It is ready for the road.
The Porsche Certificate Of Authenticity shows that this car - chassis number 153162 with engine number 602034 was completed in early 1960. It was delivered with both cabriolet soft top and steel hardtop, as are with the car today.
I have personally driven this car and it handles wonderfully. Runs exceptionally well with plenty of power, no smoke or bad habits. The body is rust-free with the original color combination of black exterior and top with red leather interior, which looks fabulous. Please see the photos.
