This is a very clean, highly original, and fully restored 1958 Ford F-100. This truck was owned by a craftsman that lovely restored it, he had great welding skills and it has been driven less than 50 mile since completed. With their iconic nose and hood, and Fords signature grill, the 1958 F-100s brought together the best elements of Fords 50s design cues, and this is an excellent example. The original 223cid straight six engine starts and runs well and the three-on-the-tree transmission shifts smoothly. Overall, the truck is a lot of fun to drive, whether youre headed to the lumberyard or the ice cream stand. The body and frame on this truck are rust-free (see the photos). The bed is fully functional and structurally sound. We were also very impressed with the condition of the undercarriage. All the typical trouble spotscab corners, cab mounts, rocker panels, cross-members and spring shacklesare clean, solid, and new. The paint is in great condition, although not original. The rims are in excellent condition as well. Overall, the truck shows very well, and weve gotten a lot of attention around town in it.
