Description

This 1962 Porsche 356B S-90 Cab . It is equipped with a 4 Speed Manual transmission. The vehicle is Black with a Black Leather interior. It is offered As-Is, not covered by a warranty. - 1962 Porsche 356B Super Cabriolet Chassis No.156381 Engine No. 700202 The Porsche 356 was the companys first production automobile. It was a lightweight and nimble handling rear-engine rear-wheel-drive 2 door sports car, available in hardtop and convertible configurations. Design innovations continued during the years of manufacture, contributing to its motorsports success and popularity, production ended in April of 1965. Presented in black over black leather upholstery, this T-6 Twin Grille Cabriolet is a very capable driver and complete base for preservation. Equipped with matching black Haartz cloth top with zip-out rear window, Talbot rear view mirror, and extras such as crested seat belts, wood crested gear shift knob, Blaupunkt push button radio with mesh speaker grilles and antenna. Today, the still cabriolet retains its original signal lenses, glass, wheels, upholstery, instruments, undercarriage and factory undercoating. 81 which indicate the last two digits of the chassis number are found stamped on the front bonnet hinge as well as the rear deck lid. The paintwork and original upholstery have aged, showing cosmetic blemishes in areas as expected, as does portions of the original trim and lenses. All of the vented chrome wheels are date coded, and the original Drivers manual accompanies. A recent outing confirms the 1961 1600S motor performs well through all gears. With the benefit of open-air touring, 356s have long been known to provide years of reliable motoring, and this driver is just the candidate for continued enjoyment. $88,500 or Best Offer To learn more about this vehicle, please contact our sales department at (281) 497-1000 or sales@driversource.com Selling Made Simple.
