1957 Mercury Montclair Convertible,Tri Color Red/White/Black and White Soft Top!
Frame-off Restoration with Zero Miles since Restoration! Formerly on display in Dick Clark's 57 Heaven Museum!!
In 1957 the mid-priced Mercury Montclair convertible competed with the bold new Turnpike Cruiser for popularity, selling only 4,248 copies in a strong sales market. Like its stable mate, the Montclair’s detailed “space-age” styling and the considerable power of the 368/290 HP 4-barrel Turnpike Cruiser V-8 engine under the hood makes it a pleasure to own today and especially popular with show crowds. This spectacular 1957 Montclair convertible has been carefully preserved since it was purchased from the late Dick Clark’s famous 57 Heaven Museum in 2009. Fiesta Red is the perfect color for this splendid machine, and well complimented by the tri-color rolled and pleated interior, which features a padded dash, dash-mounted clock and radio and handy push-button controls for its Merc-O-Matic transmission. It is also equipped with a sharp White power-operated convertible top and outfitted in period goodies that include an articulated driver’s side spotlight, full wheel covers and wide whitewall tires.
