This goes back to the good old days of hot rods where you took a few things and made something VERY cool out of it. That is exactly what we have here. This is titled as a 1971 VW Custom Built Trike. Thats right folks, this baby is tagged and registered and you can drive it anywhere on the road that you want. This is going to turn a lot of heads just to figure out what it is, and then everyone is going to want to stop you and talk about it.
The motor is a dual port 1600 cc with a 4 speed manual transmission. The front end of this cool piece is a Harley Wide Glide with twin Harley tanks, instrument cluster, Chrome ape hangers as well as a chrome fender. The interior of the tank on this custom trike has been completely stripped and professionally coated with a lifetime guarantee.
All of the body parts have been painted bright red base coat clear coat. The steel frame has an aluminum floor as well as the rear housing.
This trike is turn key ready to just fire it up and run. The owner has put a new generator, pulleys, battery, master cylinder as well as new brake parts on this trike. When we say its ready to roll, its ready to roll. All of the lights including turn signals work on this awesome piece of machinery, as well as having new upholstery and a new steel roll bar. All of the wiring has been replaced as well as the distributor and Solex Carb and oil filter.
You will never have to worry about rear traction on this trick trike with the 215/60R/15 tires mounted on GM Mag wheels. The rubber is great on this all the way around.
