Known for the quality of the select hardwoods from Fords vast landholdings in northern Michigan and the workmanship of Fords Iron Mountain works, Ford woodie wagons are appreciated by all collectors, whether they have one old car or one hundred. The juxtaposition of the woods natural grain under shiny varnish with Ford sheet metal is a delight to any onlooker. This 1935 Ford is even prettier than most with Tacoma Cream paint, brown leatherette upholstery and a black composite roof. The wire wheels are coffee with whitewall tires, hubcaps and chrome trim rings. Its utility is enhanced by three-row seating, rollup front door windows and a full set of side curtains that slide up into roof mounted tracks. Dual horns, an enclosed rear-mounted spare, banjo spoke steering wheel, and a front bumper with overriders complete its equipment. It has been fully restored to showroom quality with no detail overlooked and the wood framing exhibits some attractive grain details that add to its appeal. A solid, honest, straightforward, thoroughly restored example of one of Americas favorite collector cars, it is a superb example ready to be shown or driven to the beach .
