Originally assembled on June 9, 1976, this 1976 Corvette features many factory options, and comes with the desirable 4 speed manual transmission. This project cars paint looks to be somewhat recent, and is in overall good condition with a very nice shine. With the exception of the windshield, all exterior glass on this car shows a correct date code. Drivers exterior door handle looks to be somewhat recent, and is in very good condition. Passenger side door handle, luggage rack, weatherstripping, and taillights appear to all be original/unrestored. A chrome cap has been glued on top of the factory alarm lock cylinder, and a third brake light has been added to the roof of this car. Standard style passenger side mirror has been added as well. Slotted aluminum wheels wear a set of radial outlined white letter tires, which show an average of 7/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an average of 6/32nds remaining in the rear. Please note however that we STRONGLY recommend replacing these tires due to dry-rot if this car is to be driven. The interior of this 1976 Corvette shows newer vinyl seat covers (in correct leather pattern) in good condition. Door panels, carpet, gauges, steering wheel, storage bins, seatbelts, dash, and center console all appear to be original/unrestored. An Alpine CDA-9815 CD stereo has been added, as well as a Punch 10 inch subwoofer mounted in a Jensen clear box, which sits in the rear of the car on top of custom carpet. The numbers matching engine in this 1976 Corvette shows final assembly date June 1, 1976. Correct carburetor, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, a/c compressor, and ignition shielding are in place. Correct style air cleaner is present, with an added custom chrome lid with cutout for a reusable air filter element.
