Description

When you talk about body lines many would argue you cant get any better than the 33 or 34 Ford. These street rods had the same over all layout of the 32 but with much more sleek swooping fenders and a more sloped look. That combined with some cool paint like this 33 Ford makes for a look that really pops. This cool old Ford was nicely built by Yeller Rose Rods in Texas and has some unique features that really separate it out from a crowd of these street rods. The Redneck body is coated in a two tone PPG Tuxedo Black and House of Kolor Satin Black. This is then separated with some beautiful lime Green pinstriping that was laid down by well known striper/customizer Frank Palmer who else? He also put down some very nice color on the rear deck lid with the famous Lady Luck done in a lime Green theme. The Redneck bodies are known to be high quality fiberglass and this body is no different. All of the exterior electrical is in place including nostalgia style taillights with custom painted to match satin black mounts. The large front grills are a highlight on these types of cars and this one has a great looking Billet setup that is nicely accented by the custom curved Nerf bar underneath. Nice long arm chrome side mirrors are in place on both sides as well as chrome door handles. The glass is all in great condition with a nice tint and the front windshield is framed in very nice polished stainless. One of the coolest things about a roadster is the fact that you can drive it with the top on or off. No car show is out of reach when you can throw a top on when any threat of weather. It is a black cloth rod top that can easily be removed and stored in trunk. The car has a very solid stance and rides around on very cool 15 spoke wire rims that are painted a lime green. That green theme continues throughout the car with custom accents seen throughout. This is really evident when peaking under the car as the entire Pete & jakes chassis has been very cleanly finished out with all nice polished or painted parts. Up front is a Heidts Polished Independent Mustang II polished suspensions with Rack & Pinion and adjustable coil overs in rear. These are all very high quality components and look great in place. Powering the classic down the road is a very nicely done 350 V8 producing over 350 hp that was built well. Every where you look is a polished, chrome, or billet component. The finned valve covers and large oval air cleaner have a nice shine and have nicely painted in lime green lines. Under that air cleaner is a 3 deuce carburetor set up that was built using matching Demon carbs. This is a very nice set up you dont see on a lot of street rods. The car runs very cool with no heating issues with the very nicely mounted Aluminum radiator with electric fan. Behind the motor is a 700R4 automatic with overdrive transmission that sends the power to the rear wheels through the Currie 9 inch posi rear end. The rear end houses 3:50 gears and is nicely painted. The transmission is fitted with a Corvette valve body and shift kit as well as a 2500 stall converter. The interior of the car is done in a nice Black that looks great. The bucket seats are very comfortable and wrapped in real leather and suede. The dash of the car has that same Tuxedo/Gloss combination paint with some very nice pinstriping. It looks great painted this way especially when you top it with the Silver Classic Instrument gauges. The Ididit tilt steering column is painted Black and is topped with a 40 Ford style steering wheel that looks good in place. To the floor you will find a very cool Lokar shifter with 8 ball knob. The 8 compresses and acts as the release button. Other nice features include the Pioneer AM/FM/CD player that delivers a great sound through custom mounted speakers. This is a very cool classic and you dont see them done like this everyday. If you want an old street rod but are tired of the same look then this has to be the car for you! You couldnt come close to replicating this custom for only $49,950.00! TRADES CONSIDERED
