This cars paint is in average condition, showing all the signs of an older paint job, but still looks good from 20 feet away. Chrome bumpers look to be original, and are in good condition with plenty of patina. With the exception of the windshield, all exterior glass on this car shows a correct date code. Taillights are in overall good condition, and the exterior door handles look to be older with a good to very good condition finish, and function smoothly. This car wears a set of rally wheels, which are in good condition, with good to very good condition trim rings and center caps. Radial outlined white letter tires show an average of 8/32nds tread depth remaining in the front, and an average of 7/32nds remaining in the rear. The interior of this 1971 Corvette shows older seat covers, and good condition door panels, dash pad, and gauges. GM seatbelts are present, and in good original condition. Correct loop carpet looks to be a little older, but is still in good to very good condition with no major fading or wear. Additions to this interior include a Hurst shifter with white knob, center console armrest pad, a modern digital AM/FM radio with auxiliary input housed in the correct original location with period correct pushbuttons and knobs, and a pair of rear Kenwood 6x9 speakers in speakerboxes. Rear storage bins are in very good condition with no cracks in the frames. The numbers matching engine in this 1971 Corvette shows original casting date April 30, 1971, and final assembly date May 4, 1971. Additions to this engine include a pair of chrome valve covers with big block style Tonawanda sticker and red outlined bowtie decals, chrome air cleaner, chrome master cylinder cap, chrome power steering cap, and a painted Edelbrock Performer intake manifold.
