Here we have our 1958 Oldsmobile Super 88 4-dr hardtop; this is a California car, totally rust-free, 83,000 original miles, and a great long-distance car! The car was repainted a few years ago in Calif. from the original yellow to its current flat-black and green. At that time, the rear door handles were removed and the car was lowered 2”. The motor is the 371 CI 2-barrel V8, with the 4-speed Hydromatic. This car would be classified as a Contemporary West-Coast Custom; it is not original, but is a really cool car and is great to drive! We have taken it on many road-trips and have gotten more than 20 MPG on what is an all-original drivetrain! The interior was all cracked and torn when we got it, so we cleaned it up and installed JCWhitney seat-covers. The trim on this car is all super-straight and the chrome is really nice! Overall, the car is in excellent shape, we rebuilt the brakes, tuned the engine, and made sure that this car is 100% mechanically sound. This car is meant to be driven, not a static display vehicle.
