This period-correct build is powered by a nicely-built 396/425 HP GM V-8 from a Chevelle, with 10.5 to 1 compression and 425 torque. Mated to a five-speed Doug Nash transmission, the car looks old-school but is definitely modern fast. Its got a great stance on bigs and littles, with just enough chrome to be custom, but the look is definitely understated. The interior is just right, with fine grey cloth interior, and the comfort of a tilt wheel, a tach, and power disc brakes. This is a great driving high performance hot rod with just 13,500 miles since the build. It’s ready for any road trip, and will turn heads at any car show.
