Description

Imagine settling yourself into the spacious cockpit of this Satin Silver 1964 Sting Ray. Feel the plush bucket seats and the deep hub steering wheel. Stretch out and sample the leg room.... Feel the deep twist carpeting beneath your feet. When you finally open youe eyes, take a look around at the walnut trim, elegant interior and the hooded areas of the instrument panel.

Luxury abounds within the Corvette's sleek outer shell and beautiful lines....... What is the best way to describe the 1964 Corvette Sting Ray?? A sports car with a dual personality.

The iconic Sting Ray series, introduced in 1963 was revolutionary in American styling. The 1964 model is distinguished from its 1963 counterpart by the absence of the split rear window- a distinctive feature of the 1963 coupe. The decorative hood vents were also eliminated on the 1964 model. To improve ventilation, a three speed fan was added. Also the decorative air exhaust vent on the coupe's rear pillar was made functional, but only on the left side.

For this year (1964), a total of 8,304 Sting Ray coupes were produced by Chevy of which 2,785 were Satin Silver.

This particular Sting Ray was originally purchased in January of 1964 in New Jersey and is one of the best we have seen! All NUMBER MATCHING!! The paint is near flawless and the interior seems as comfortable as if it were brand new. This car was fully restored in and has several original factory features. All original paperwork and manuals will come with the car preserved in an album by the car's current owner..

This Sting ray is PERFECT for any Corvette fan! This car is definitely a head turner! This Sting ray has alway been stored in a Climate controlled Garage
