This fully restored 1965 Mustang is a rare non-GT K Code that has been owned by the same family here in the Northwest since new. It is believed to be the first Mustang on Washington`s Olympic peninsula and only shows 80,800 original miles. A top-quality ground up restoration was completed in 2008 after this rare notchback had been in storage for nearly 20 years. Opting to keep this pony the way it looked when it rolled off the assembly line, the body was refinished in correct Prairie Bronze over a black vinyl interior and 14-inch styled steel wheels with Coker red line tires. The HiPo 289 has been totally disassembled and rebuilt and is backed by a top-loader 4-speed manual. We have over $57,700 in restoration receipts and pictures of the restoration process, as well as its original license plate and a spare key. K Codes are a solid investment and tend to be snatched up quickly by collectors. Finding another that as well done and mechanically sound as this one would be difficult indeed; don`t miss out.
