You have just stumbled upon what has to be one of the coolest old Ford pickup trucks around. There is just something about this classic that has that it factor. We arent sure if its the paint, the chrome, the over all look, or a combination of those but this car really stands out in a crowd. It is painted a beautiful Purple that almost seems to change colors in certain light. Sometimes it appears more blue while others a brighter purple. The body is nice and straight and rides on a rust free frame that has been entirely powder coated. The look of the 40 front end is enough to make any hotrodder drool with the cool dual grills and classic tear drop style headlights. That combined with the rounded fenders completes one of the more recognizable front ends around. Every chrome piece on the classic is in good shape and bumpers are nicely mounted in front and rear. The correct style hood trim is in good shape and runs up from the V8 nicely stamped on the grill. It even has the trim piece nicely in place on the bent style front windshield. A chrome side mirror is in place on the drivers side door and has a long mounting arm so that you can see out of the with no problems. A really cool feature on this cool classic is the running boards. They are painted Purple to match but have been topped with wide custom cut stainless. These really look great and should be a staple on any classic with running boards. The bed is very nicely done being finished out with Oak slats which are all separated with nice chrome trim. It sits on nice ET Billet polished aluminum wheels and has a very solid stance. Powering up this custom pickup is a 350 V8 crate motor that runs very well. We may call it a crate motor but it has been upgraded with a a lot of polished components as well as a 650 Holly carburetor. An aluminum radiator with cool flex hoses have been added and the truck has no heating issues. Behind all that is a 350 Turbo automatic transmission that shifts nicely and has no problems. The suspension utilizes a coil over system in front and rear, providing a nice smooth ride. The interior of this good looking pickup is done in Grey with Black carpeting. The bench seat is very comfortable and allows a good amount of leg room. The dash is painted Purple and is topped with very nice white faced Classic Instruments. These are mounted in nice clean billet bezels that look great. A polished tilt column is topped with a nice billet steering wheel that is wrapped in Grey. A Lokar shifter is mounted to the floor board and looks great in place. Lokar makes a very high quality product which is why you will find that Lokar pedals were also used. A Rockford AM/FM/CD player sounds great and delivers music through the nicely made speaker kick panels. This truck looks so good we know it wont be available for long. It shows well, drives well, and looks awesome! What else could you ask for? This cool classic is worth every bit of $39,500.00!
