The 1966 Ford Thunderbird was Fords personal performance luxury car. The 390 CI engine produces 315hp under the hood, giving the Bird legitimate muscle. The cockpit design with its overhead console and its bucket seats with center console and its wrap around back seat gives it a feeling few cars in the 60`s obtained. The bar style speedometer and the unique gauge cluster, the aircraft type levers for the wipers, map light, and air vents all remind you of a cockpit. The tail lights are sequential and that is something used on only a very few cars to this day.
This car is completely original except its stylish wheels. It still even has its 8 track player intact and it has the usual T-Bird options such as A/C, power seats, power windows, power steering and power front disc brakes.
This car has undergone a complete restoration from front bumper to rear bumper. You can see by the pictures how slick and deep the black paint is. All chrome, stainless and other exterior and interior trim has been restored to a high standard. The interior looks brand new including door panels and dash. Inside the trunk is like new and under the hood is the same.
