This 1965 Mustang is a multiple-award winning custom fastback that was featured on the cover of Modified Mustangs & Fast Fords in July 2011. It was completely restored in 2010 and features more performance and custom upgrades than this space allows. Under the hood is a dyno-tested 572hp Windsor 427 built by Smeding performance featuring forged internals, Edelbrock intake, roller rockers, aluminum heads and stainless long tube headers. Handling the power is a Tremec TKO 600 5-spd, aluminum driveshaft and a 9-inch rear end with 3.50 gears, and the suspension keeps pace with front struts, adjustable coil-over shocks, and Baer big brakes. The interior has Corbeau seats, Autometer gauges, and Kenwood/Infinity audio system, while the exterior boasts custom front and rear spoilers, fiberglass hood and Titan Charcoal paint.
