Here we have a 1966 Ford Galaxie 500 2-door hardtop in Red with the Ford Big Block 352 Cubic Inch V8. It runs great and has a decent interior and body in the nice Red on Red. This is Classic Ford styling, the iconic Big Bock V8, and a very good color combination which makes this Galaxie one hot ride, even when we photograph it with a snowy background! This is a reasonably priced and straight example of a Galaxie that has clearly been well cared for over the years. The body is in decent good shape, with some minor rust spots that will need some attention, please see the pictures. There are some nits and nats, minor dents and some flaky paint, but all are minor and easily repairable and they do not take much away from the elegance and presence of this coupe. The car has been repainted but it could use some additional work, but it can be driven as it is right now. It shows well and complements the interior nicely. All the glass is intact, and the chrome trim is in good shape as well. The interior is worn, not ripped or damaged, just in need of a spruce. Drive it now, fix it as you go. The seats are in decent shape and you can improve it as you go. The headliner, rugs, and all of the touchables are in fair condition, so you can simply drive the car. The floors, frame rails and rocker panels are in fair shape, but there are some spots that will need some work in the future. Please take a detailed look at the pictures. This is a decent original, making it a great candidate for long-term investment and enjoyment. Its great on the road, too; a smooth driver with plenty of power and torque to keep up with todays traffic while getting all the looks and waves. The car likes to take its time warming up, but the more we drive it, the more we love to drive it.
