1974 MG MGB convertible for sale in our Chicago Showroom. This MGB has 52,203 original miles. The engine is a 4-cyl. 1798cc with 87hp and twin SU carburetors, with a 4 speed manual transmission and a 3.90 open rear end. This British classic is completely restored with photos and receipts to prove it. Originally a Tennessee car, this numbers matching roadster has less that 50 miles on the rebuilt engine. New parts include; full vinyl interior, convertible top, chrome bumpers, grill, clutch and pressure plate, seat belts and radial tires. Along with all new parts this sporty convertible has fresh Tartan Red paint as well. The MGB\s performance was considered brisk at the time of its introduction, with a 0?60 mph (96 km/h) time of just over 11 seconds, aided by the relatively light weight of the car.
