Stk. 1703 1990 Chrysler Maserati TC
The first thing you notice about this Chrysler TC is its striking color scheme. Painted in Light Yellow over Ginger leather, it is certainly a beautiful automobile. Chrysler together with Maserati developed and produced the TC for only three years. Designated as a "Q" body and based on a modified second generation K platform, this car was manufactured and assembled by hand in Milan, Italy and according to Lee Iacocca was to be the prettiest Italians to arrive stateside since his mother immigrated. Only 1,900 TC's were produced in 1990 making this a very rare and low production vehicle for the time. It also had a retail price of $35,500 making it the most expensive Chrysler available. This particular example has less than 30,000 miles from new. Under the hood you will find the venerable Mitsubishi 6G72 V-6 motor with an A604 four-speed automatic transmission. One of wonderful characteristics of this driveline is its free-revving motor and smooth power delivery. Inside, hand stitched Italian leather awaits you on the dashboard, door panels, seats, armrests and rear fascias. Stainless steel panels in the door jambs and sill plates remind you that this Chrysler is a step above as does the Maserati Trident/Chrysler Penta star embedded in the porthole windows of the removable hardtop.
