This rare mercury station wagon has been restored from a solid and intact original car. It retains its original wood body which is has been well preserved and is in excellent condition. This example retains its original flathead v-8 engine as well as a desirable, Columbia two-speed rear end which will allow to cruise effortlessly at highway speeds. The station wagon was the most expensive mercury offered in 1947
Less than 3,600 were built and sold during 1947 and today, these are amongst the most sought after of all the post war Fords.
