The Plymouth Cranbrook as a car is conservatively styled designed to fit K.T. Kellers notion that cars be practical and allow drivers to sit upright while wearing a hat; it was sold at a time when competitors favored the low and sleek look. It was also sold at a time when the government had limited the use of a lot of resources following the end of WWII in 1945 and gearing up for the start of the Korean War for production that is why this is the year that almost wasnt.
