1963 Ford Galaxie 500XL Sunliner
Fords “Total Performance” campaign was running full steam in “63”, with several drive-train combinations available. The owner of this gorgeous convertible walked into a Charlotte Ford dealer and checked off the “Z” code 390-300 horse four barrel-dual exhaust V8 engine, cruise-O-matic transmission, power steering & brakes for his new ride. He also opted for the 500XL which gave him a beautiful bucket seat/console shift interior, radio & clock, dual sport mirrors and spinner wire wheel covers. His color choice was Rangoon red, red vinyl upholstery and white power top. A tidy engine compartment, trunk, and interior show pride of former ownership. Ready to cruise…
