1932 Ford Roadster Pickup , The RaresT of all production open 1932 Fords. 1 0f 7 known to exist!! Photos of this truck in the late 50s and early 60s are in the 30 plus photo restoration album. This vehicle was built with the thought in mind to be a National show winner. ReaL Henry Ford SteeL!! Ford motor co. built a total of 593 Roadster pickup trucks in 1932 , mainly used by fruit farmers and vineyards in California. The bodies were built by Murray Body Co. similar in appearance to earlier 30/31 Model A roadster pickup trucks and 32 Ford roadsters, except not one single body panel is interchangeable with the others!! The 32 Roadster pick up cowl is 2 shorter and the doors are 2 longer! As these trucks were used as commercial vehicles it was common practice to remove the non-folding top and the doors when new and expose them to the elements which accounts for the extreme rarity of these vehicles. www.AnBclassics.com
