1997 Porsche 911 Turbo VIN: WP0AC2993VS375790 Andial 3.8 liter conversion 560 hp and 640 ft-lbs of torque Two owner, California car When the Porsche Turbo was released in 1995 it was akin to the second coming of the 959. Starting at $105k it came with a twin-turbo 3.6 liter engine, all-wheel drive, intercoolers, hollow spoked wheels, and electronic engine management. With stats like 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds, and stopping from 60 mph (97 km-h) to 0 in 2.3 seconds it was unquestionably a breathtaking drive. But of course that sort of performance can be too soft for some, enter the Andial 3.8 Turbo. After being purchases by its second owner, this 993 Turbo was given the Andial treatment in 2001. The engine displacement was increased from 3.6 to 3.8 liters. It was fitted with GT2 turbos, RS Sport camshafts, Sport exhaust, a lightened flywheel and host of other Porsche go-faster parts. The $25,000 in Andial work added to the original owners $31,000 spent on European suspension, special high-flow intercoolers, oil cooler and ECU. The result of all this work is expressed in the numbers from a recent 2012 dyno test: 560 hp and 640 ft-lbs of torque. Truly staggering numbers, and amazingly all of this power is California smog legal and it can run on 91 octane pump gas. Without a doubt this car is one of the fasted 993 Turbos in existence, and has only 11,425 miles since new, and less than 4,000 miles since its Andial transformation and engine rebuild. Most recently it received a $1300 service at Andial, receiving a short shift kit, new pressure regulator, and service to the exhaust and air intake. Since arriving at Canepa it has been fully inspected, and has received a concours quality detail. It comes complete with its original books, tools, jack, compressor, Andial receipts and window sticker.
