This great looking and driving little roadster was made in Germany between 1935 and 1940. It has a 4 cylinder flat head engine with a capacity of 1157 cc’s producing 34 horsepower. The Eifel was produced in various configurations including a two door sedan, two and four door phaeton and even a truck. Some to them saw limited duty in the Second World War. This mighty green Eifel runs great and is a great diversion to drive, but watch out for the pot holds and press down hard on the brakes. Suspension is vintage and low cost consistent with the age and make of the car. It has trafficators which are semaphore type turn signals which work perfectly as well as regular front and back turn signals. The brakes are cable driven. It will easily cruise at 50 MPH and may do as much as 60. It’s a little bit of a tight squeeze to get in but once inside it fits like a glove. The exterior is two-tone green with grey vinyl interior. It has a convertible top but no side curtains. It is about the size of an Austin Bantam, but looks like a late 30’s Ford. The likelihood of you running into another one is about as likely as being hit on the head by a meteor. 1G9EB1828c
