1953 Bentley R-Type Standard Sedan RHD 4-speed manual transmission. Silver with Light Gray interior. Chassis # B544TN. 4.5 Litre 6-cylinder. This is a Right Hand Drive Car, equipped from the factory with Sunroof, twin rear seat picnic tables, twin rear vanity mirrors and Chauffeur split front seats. Car is in very nice condition. Had exterior and partial interior restoration approximately 6-8 years ago. Light Silver Metallic exterior. There are a couple of minor exterior paint imperfections, but overall, very nice shape. Interior front carpet was replaced along with new front seat belts. Car runs very nicely. Many mechanical improvements have been made and or have the parts to complete. King Pins replaced on both sides. R & L bushings kits have been replaced. Front Brake pads and drums have been replaced. Have rear brake drums. Original oil filter system replaced with new spin-on oil filter system. New upper and lower radiator hoses, sway bar bushings. Valve cover and valve tappet gaskets replaced. New Distributor cap, rotor, wires and spark plugs replaced. Have electronic ignition system ready to install. Recently converted pressurized radiator system. Both SU carbs rebuilt. Have many new bushings ready for install, as well as new servo parts.
Engine oil, manual transmission and rear end fluid all replaced. New electric choke parts re-fitted to car. New spare tire. Has original handbook, keys and tool kit. Rubber all around is in great shape. Mileage on the odometer is showing 52584, I have no way of confirming if this is 100% accurate. I’ve got every receipt for everything I’ve purchased for this car.
