Back in the 50’s, time just moved a little slower. We waited for our favorite TV shows, we waited for the bus and if we wanted to do some research or learn about something, we walked to the library and actually wrote things on paper. It was a different time back then and for those who grew up in the 50’s sure had seen some changes in their lives through the years. We went from being lucky to have a phone or TV to watching TV on our phones. Everything today is at our finger tips and our weeks go by like days and our days like minutes. Probably one of the most iconic symbols of the 50’s was the 1957 Chevy Bel Air. When you see this car you are instantly reminded of the good ol days. And if you’re lucky enough to drive one, you remember how life use to be. If you didn’t grow up in the 50’s you’ll wish you did when behind the wheel of this timeless classic. Just imagine seeing this car cruising down the Boulevard capturing the reflections of the neon lit signs in the depth of its enamel or across the abundance of brilliant chrome. It must have been some sight. Even today, as you see this ghost from the past drive by nice and slow, it’s like time stops for just a little bit and frees your mind from all the hustle and bustle of today and brings you back to era, regardless if you lived in it or not, where you would have loved to be a part of. Cars like this are a constant reminder of how things use to be. How there was a different sense of pride when designing and building these cars. The way we rushed to the local dealer to see the new model years. Today we wait for nothing, back then we waited for pride and perfection and we were never disappointed. Please enjoy the photos of this truly iconic American Classic and thanks for visiting. Exterior: The exterior of this vehicle has been professionally restored and has been taken off the frame. As you can see from the pictures, the body is straight and the paint shines with depth. All the chrome has been redone and shines excellent and is show quality. The convertible top is in new condition and all the mechanicals of the top work excellent. All the lights are functional and the glass is all clear and chip and haze free. The stainless is straight and shines excellent as do the hubcaps. Please study the pictures and let us know of any questions. And if you’re extremely picky and need super specific questions please give us a call. Interior: The interior of the car is absolutely gorgeous. The interior has been restored to a show quality presentation. All the paint work is excellent the chrome and stainless all shine excellent. However, let me say that when needing restoration, it’s been restored, if the original parts could be reusable, they would. So expect minor pitting on the clock bezel, radio, tissue box etc. But as you can see from the pictures all door panels, carpets, seats and dash are absolutely mint.
