The 1965 Mustang is one of the most iconic cars of all time. It was ahead of its time when it was built and was the leader in performance and style for most of the mid 60’s and has dominated the roads ever since. Under the hood is a 302 V8 bored .40 over. Built with flat top pistons, 512/496 Edelbrock performance cam. 69 cast iron heads with 202 valves 160 exhaust. 650 Holley double pumper carb and powder coated long tube headers all producing about 375 horse. A TKO custom 5 speed was installed with competition clutch and was attached to a 9” Ford Moser powder coated rear with 3.55 gears and Detroit Locker. Custom traction bars were also installed. 8 coats of clear on top of custom two tone “House of Colors” paint has been wet sanded to perfection. It was a complete body off restoration using all new stainless steel bolts to put back together. Custom fiberglass hood with custom sideveiw mirrors. What wasn’t painted was powder coated making this a true show piece. Everything is new inside including the Platinum Auto Meter gauges with a Custom Grant Steering Wheel. A custom sound system has been installed as well and was tastefully done. Speakers are on the rear deck and in the front kick panels giving you great surround sound. All the original factory tinted glass is all clear and haze and chip free. Even moving on to the interior of the trunk which was all custom built and carpeted to match the interior.
