1946 Dodge P.E. Van Pelt Firetruck - Tanker has a Dodge T 118 flat head 6 cylinder engine. Has two speed rear axle. Brakes work good. The Firetruck starts easily. Runs well.The truck has been converted to 12 volts and has very loud siren. Has a 500 gallon water tank and a 250 GPM Van Pelt fire pump that works great. Water supply can either be from the firetruck tank, or pumped from any other water source. Comes with hoses and suction strainer. One is brand new and its 100 ft discharged hose. Also has two nozzles. There are also few spare parts and hose wrenches. Nice old firetruck that works. Can be used for parades or can be used as a functional firetruck. Overall condition is good. Inspection is available Mon-Thur from 8-3 pm. The cabin is not enclosed, meter shows 9.000.8 miles, comes with ignition key, fuel tank capacity unknown, takes gasoline fuel, powered by Dodge T 118 flat head 6 cylinder engine, 100 horse power, comes with no manuals, windshield has no cracks, B.F.S.G.
