Description

There are a lot of Novas out there, but there sure arent many nicer than this incredible 1969 SS Baldwin Motion tribute. Incredible paint, spotless interior, and a snarling small block built to rock. This is quite possibly the most over-built gorgeous Nova weve ever seen, and with only 57 miles since the full frame-off professional restoration, its ready to win some trophies. First theres that bright red paint job, and if you want red, then the only place to go is right to the guys who made red into a very big deal: Ferrari. With a coat of paint that would look at home on an Enzo, this laser-straight Enzo Red Nova is no longer a bargain-basement grocery getter. Instead, it has been professionally finished to show standards befitting a high-end investment piece. A 1967 Corvette stinger hood scoop has been added, and youll note that the bodywork doesnt show so much as a ripple anywhere on its surface. Gaps are excellent all around, and someone has rubbed and buffed that paint to a shine thats truly worthy of its million-dollar namesake. Other trick details include the 430 badges up front, a nod to the engines horsepower rating, and the Hurst badge on the tail, which is a nod to the Baldwin-Motion cars of the late-60s. Overall, this car is extraordinarily impressive. The interior is every bit as nicely finished, with fresh bucket seats, great-looking door panels with silver inserts, and new carpets front and rear. The Novas original instrument panel doesnt offer much information, even in SS guise, so a center console, complete with Camaro-esque auxiliary gauges has been added. As an OEM piece, it definitely looks right at home here, especially with the cue-ball-tipped Hurst shifter. This car also offers an unusual tilt column with a 3-spoke steering wheel, which will also look familiar to Camaro fans. The original radio is gone and now uses an AM/FM/cassette head unit to deliver entertainment, although we all know the real show is happening up front under the hood. Open the trunk and youll find a spotless cargo bay, fully upholstered and including an original matching steel wheel and redline bias-ply spare tire, tying this car to its performance roots quite neatly. Those aforementioned 430 badges are a nod to the ZZ430 crate motor under the hood. With 350 cubic inches to work with, its still quite a feat to get more than 1.2 horsepower per cubic inch, but the engineers at GM added a race-spec camshaft, roller rockers, and a set of lightweight aluminum cylinder heads. Its dressed in a set of trick black wrinkle valve covers with a bunch of chrome on the accessory drive, air cleaner, and firewall. It also offers 4-wheel discs, a notable upgrade over the bargain basement binders most Novas originally wore. Long-tube headers feed a Flowmaster dual exhaust with polished tips, and the undercarriage is positively spotless. A B&M 3-speed automatic with a 2200 RPM stall converter feeds a stout 12-bolt rear, so you dont have to ever worry about breakage. Those polished Torque Thrusts finish a dynamite look, complete with 235/45/17 front and 255/45/17 rear BFGoodrich G-Force radials. Fast, beautiful, and expertly finished, this is the top of the Nova food chain. If youre ready to step up, give us a call right away! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
