Street Rod fans around the country know the name and miss the man – the late Barry Lobeck. He crafted this car for his own use and along the way it won awards and has been featured in Street Rodder magazine. Now it can be yours! The fiberglass body rod started out as a B-400, which was painstakingly crafted into the piece of art you are looking at, and painted bright orange. The chrome wheels, paint, and details like the frenched taillights show the care put into this car. Under the hood sits an all black 350CID V8, producing 195HP, mated to a Turbo 350 automatic and Ford 9” rear end. The rack and pinion steering is responsive and the front disc/rear drum brake setup provides ample stopping power. The interior was crafted by Bobby Griffey and is a mix of tan leather and tweed. The stereo works off remote control and the A/C system keeps you as cool as you look driving this amazing car. This classic ride won’t last long and will be turning heads and making people drool soon…will you be the one behind the wheel?
