Absolutely gorgeous metallic silver polyurethane painted and can only be described as excellent. This 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass is an original, numbers matching, show quality automobile. It has undergone a complete, fully documented frame-off restoration. The vehicle is powered by its original rebuilt engine, rebuilt turbo-Hydromantic transmission, and rebuilt differential. The rocket 350 engine is stamped with the correct VIN stamp (31Z117535) and casting number (3955582). The transmission is also stamped with the correct VIN stamp (317117535). The rear axle is the correct R2 code (2.56 ratio) differential. The frame and floorboards are in excellent original condition. The vehicle still has the correct seams at the rear quarter panels and body stamps at the rear floorboards. This illustrates that this vehicle was in excellent condition before restoration.
The exterior body panels and fit and finish are second to none! All the body panels are straight (no ripples) and properly aligned. All the same jute material when manufactured.
Every nut, bolt, matching part numbers (verified) original chrome mention above has no pitting. Black vinyl top, interior is black marine leather on original bench seats with the same jute material when manufactured
The interior is marine leather upholstery and trim panels of the vehicle are in new condition.
Every minor detail is documented, all cost for refurbish allocated, available, and authenticated. Garage kept and has only 1950 miles to date. Vehicle is used only for show.
Car manufactured in Fremont CA. and has original license plates and matching key chain license plate.
Vehicle has original AM radio and new original (OEM) GM speaker. The 8 track player includes FM radio (removable) and 200 ea 8 tapes along with many extra parts which are included. Have original engineering drawings, owner’s manuals, and Chilton manuals. Vehicle NEVER sustained any body damage, rust and never in accident. Between the originality of components and the first rate workmanship, this classic automobile is in a class of its own.
